Andi and Connor had their hearts set on a tipi wedding and Hackthorn Estate not only provided that option, but also brought the added benefits of seclusion and exclusivity, allowing them the whole venue for their big day. “When we saw the venue in January, it looked very different to how it was in August when the gardens were in full bloom and the tipi was up,” Andi remembers. They were also able to book local accommodation for most of their wedding party to stay close by, meaning they could continue the party together into the following day! With the help of Pinterest for plenty of inspiration the couple decided to keep their palette and décor subtle and classic in keeping with the tipi, gardens and overall venue. Andi and Connor decided on something a little different for their food and worked with a private chef who created bespoke graze boxes for the wedding breakfast. In the evening, guests were treated to a feast of pizza and hog roast, along with a delicious dessert cart. For those in need of a snack during the day, a crisp wall was on hand. 36
