These lovebirds first crossed paths at secondary school when they were just 14 years old, forming a friendship that quickly blossomed into something more. Growing up side by side, their relationship only grew stronger with time. Six years later, Josh popped the question while the couple were on a dream trip to Croatia, turning an already unforgettable holiday into a cherished moment. SETTING THE SCENE When it came to choosing the perfect venue, the couple opted for The Orangery Ingestre because of its simplistic beauty and timeless appeal. “It’s such a stunning venue even without decoration, which gave us the perfect base to work from when deciding our colour scheme and styling,” comments Izzy. The bride made all of the flower arrangements using faux flowers, white blooms paired with green foliage, complemented by real flower bud vases as simple table decorations. They also included framed pictures from their families’ weddings to help involve loved ones in their special day. For the wedding breakfast, the pair chose grazing boards on each table, which were a little different but perfectly suited their twilight summer wedding. Later in the evening, guests enjoyed Italian woodfired pizzas. LOOKING THE PART The bride looked stunning on the big day with two different looks. The first was a silky, strapless House of CB dress with a fishtail silhouette. The second was a Babyboo backless mini dress with a pearledged finish. Izzy says, “With the day being the 36
