Your London Wedding - January/February 2022 (Issue 81)

Strike a pose Inspired by the archives of Vogue, this shoot oozes style and sophistication Images courtesy of Lisa Jane Photography Sophie Tyler of A Lovers Thread worked with a small but fierce team of wedding creatives to craft this intimate London elopement shoot. “We wanted to strike a playful, contemporary note with our styling, using a colour palette of black, red, and tonal shades of nude and pink,” she explains. The bridalwear by A Lover’s Thread is a combination of vintage pieces and modern embellishments, to create bespoke looks that bring together old and new. “The venue, Gazelli House, is a holistic skincare and treatment studio in the heart of Chelsea, so we wanted this celebration to feel natural and beautiful both in style and substance - fabulous, inside and out,” she says. The balloons were eco-friendly, the ingredients of the grazing table all locally sourced and the desserts and cakes were all vegan. Sophie and the team made sure that every element was in some way a homage to the talents of small businesses. “This day was all about celebrating in a mindful way, being present with a small group of loved ones, and enjoying the good, wholesome luxuries of life. We believe 2022 is going to be the year of meaningful maximalism in the wedding industry, and we’re here for it,” she shares. LOCAL INSPIRATION 55
