Our experts explain how to set the stage for the wedding of your dreams FINDING WONDERLAND DRAPED IN FINERY Daniel Kyte-Collings, KC Weddings & Events says, “Clever use of wall and ceiling drapery can transform any plain space into an amazing marquee- style area. When using white you’ll automatically have a clean palette to work with that looks stylish, indulgent and elegant.” BEFORE YOU BEGIN Natasha Grant, Pearline Events says: “Before you do anything with your venue you’ll need to get your ideas together to establish what style you want your wedding to be. You could create a mood board, whether that’s on Pinterest or elsewhere. Narrow down your ideas by looking at the common elements. Ask yourself whether there’s a clear style and whether you’re drawn towards certain colours. This will all help to identify your preferred theme.” DIVIDE AND CONQUER Melanie Revell-Leaman, Your Story Events says, “Try to visualise the space into different areas and sections. For example, perhaps you know you need a dining area, bar, dancefloor and seating area where guests can chill. Once you have these outlined it makes life a lot easier.”
