George Stocken played an acoustic set during our wedding breakfast. The Soul Monkeys provided the evening entertainment with a special performance from Beth’s sons and junior best men, who played the electric guitar. I felt relaxed and excited that the big day was finally here. Beth says she felt happiness like no other and beamed all day. We loved our signature bride and groom cocktails too. The Old Kent Barn’s head chef, James, provided us with a range of canapés, an I Do Barbecue with a grand selection of mouthwatering food, and a generous portion of my favourite: jerk wings. This was followed by a trio of desserts and accompanied by Chapel Down’s finest wines and fizz. In the evening we had a bratwurst bar with themed biscuits from L.C Cakes and Bakes. The food was amazing, mainly due to my choices! Everything went to plan and The Old Kent Barn’s staff ran everything with military precision! 52
