The grounds feature an Arts & Crafts style formal garden, wild apple tree garden orchard, paddocks and a small woodland, along with on-site accommodation. THE “I DOS” Here, you have you the choice to marry indoors or out. The Wild Apple Tree Garden Orchard has a capacity of 150. A peaceful al fresco space for a ceremony or blessing, it features a purpose-built, oak-framed pavilion and views across the third paddock. It’s available during British summertime or book a twilight wedding for nuptials beneath the moon and stars. For more intimate “I dos” in a tranquil and secret spot, The Walled Courtyard is a secluded sun trap and can play host to 60 nearest and dearest. It’s also home to an attractive white-framed glasshouse. For indoor vows, The Old Malt Granary can accommodate 150 loved ones. With a mezzanine floor, you can say your vows while your videographer and photographer capture the momentous occasion from above or a choir can sing from the glass-panelled upper tier. After the ceremony, the doors can be flung open, and drinks and canapés can be served on the lawn next to the Dew Pond. Within the original Chapel House, dating back to 1290, you can host a tiny stress-free luxury wedding for two to 10 people. This carefullyrestored chapel is a Grade II listed Medieval building and with endless charm provides an unforgettable setting. THE CELEBRATIONS Receptions for 150 guests take place in the purpose-built Thorne Barn. This large air-conditioned and heated banqueting barn is perfect for large gatherings with space for a further 50 guests to join you for the evening’s celebrations. The North Paddock, next to the Thorn Barn is the perfect place for a large marqee, festival tent, evening food trucks, fun fair, lawn games or simply for your guests to stroll after the wedding breakfast or warm themselves by the outside fire.
