He was incredible and our guests were surprised and impressed by his performance. Special thanks go to Lauren Deeley, our wedding coordinator at The Old Kent Barn. She was a magician and just made the day run perfectly. And also to Chris Deller, our photographer, he was the best. He made sure we got all the shots we wanted, rounded everyone up for the group pictures and made us feel relaxed and comfortable. We loved the small moments we could share with our children especially when they joined us for our first dance. It was then that we both cried. Simon Dorey played inside the barn on a white baby grand piano and sang a variety of songs. He was wonderful and brought the perfect ambience to the room for our wedding breakfast. He also sang our first dance song, which was special. Tim Cullen from Mint DJs performed in the evening, so we could party the night away. He didn’t disappoint! “We bought our son a little backpack with a few new toys in it to keep him entertained throughout the day, one of them being a child’s camera. We loved looking back at all the pictures he’d taken of people’s knees and up their noses! He got a few good ones too!” 38
