Your Kent Wedding - September/October 2022 (Issue 104)

The centrepieces consisted of singlestem vases containing a beautiful mix of seasonal flowers. We used dried flower heads as confetti. We loved the natural, relaxed feel of Nurstead Court. It was peaceful, serene and simply beautiful. Our three-tier cake included red velvet, Victoria sponge and lemon layers. It was decorated with buttercream frosting and fresh flowers. Many of the blooms in our floral arrangements were grown on our florist’s allotment and included peonies, white roses, eucalyptus, oxy, nigella and cornflowers. Our table plan was a wooden pallet decorated in faux flowers. Our wedding favours were homemade paper seed hearts, which guests could plant and spread the love of beautiful wild flowers. 41 REAL WEDDINGS
