I wanted to wear something slimfitting after losing weight, and Bluebell by Sweetheart Gowns was the perfect fit. Our bridesmaids wore long dusky pink, halter-neck dresses embellished with sequins. Jo wore Hayden by Stella York. She says she never thought she’d wear a dress like this, but when she tried it on, she genuinely fell in love with it. We had crazy golf on the lawn, which was set up after the meal. We wanted to bring something different to the day, plus we love crazy golf! We were very conscious of the fact that there would be parts of the day where guests would be waiting around, especially when the photos were being taken. So, we wanted to ensure they’d be entertained and booked a magician for the drinks reception and wedding breakfast. He was a big hit and to this day guests still talk about him. He also did a short performance after our meal, which included some comedy. This was an unexpected treat as he hadn’t told us he was doing that for us. Our photographer was so full of life and energy, all our guests loved him. He made everyone feel so comfortable when having their pictures taken. 39
