Your Hampshire and Dorset Wedding - November/December 2022 (Issue 95)

We wanted to get married somewhere we could have a great party with our loved ones and didn’t require a lot of decorating! As the venue was already stunning with original art pieces and flowers scattered around, there wasn’t much need to decorate. The table plan was arranged on a simple gold frame with ivory and teal roses. I picked a wedding dress called Lily from Romantica of Devon. I never envisioned myself in a ballgown style until I tried it on and my childhood dreams of being a fairy princess came true. My accessories included silver and freshwater pearl jewellery as well as a simple veil with a scattering of crystals. We went to view 10 Castle Street after the events manager contacted me personally after I had joined a few wedding websites, which was a lovely touch. We knew we wanted to have our wedding there as soon as we visited the cosy venue that’s beautifully decorated and has gorgeous grounds. We tried to keep things simple and had ivory flowers everywhere. 42
