Your Hampshire and Dorset Wedding - September/October 2022 (Issue 94)

Oakley Hall Hotel was the whole package with beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces, including the ceremony and reception areas. Each table had a champagne bottle surrounded by a beautiful wreath of flowers from our florist. We wrote letters to each table to help everyone get to know each other better. Each guest or couple had a paragraph to read out loud to their table about how we met them. I picked an Enzoani dress with a detachable skirt as I loved the idea of having two styles in one. The skirt was perfect for the ceremony and photographs before I took it off in the evening. We had heart-shaped mint favours, which said ‘mint to be’. Our cake reflected our favourite flavours, including black forest, raspberry, white chocolate and lemon. 40
