❤ Eco credentials People are increasingly conscious about how their wedding will impact the environment and are making greener choices when it comes to their special day. Recycled materials can be used for stationery and confetti, opting for locally sourced products such as the food and flowers are also ways to help. Less waste and more sustainable products are very much on trend. ❤ Shimmer and shine Metallics are here to stay for the foreseeable future. Adding shimmer with touches of rose gold, copper, warm gold and silver tones to any part of the big-day design can elevate the overall look to create a sophisticated and glamorous feel. You don’t have to go crazy with the glitz to achieve a high-end look either. Use it as an accent rather than the focal point and it will work with any theme. Think sequin tablecloths or runners, metallic calligraphy on invitations and table numbers, shimmering candle holders and edible gold leaf on wedding cakes and macarons. Don’t be afraid to mix and match either, all metallics work well with each other so no need to just stick to one block colour. ❤ Glamour Adding glamour to your wedding can be done in many different ways. Coloured lighting, sequin fabrics in rich tones and tall candelabra will easily help you achieve this look. Do some research on your chosen colour scheme. Instead of monochrome try something with a more modern edge which includes a few colours that work well together. Crystal elements can look stunning, just try not to go overboard unless you’re aiming for a winter wonderland theme.
