We gave our guests pink heart-shaped chocolates and candle favours with ribbons printed with ‘and they lived happily ever after’ for a fairytale touch. “Other married couples advised us to take 15 minutes out during the day just to be together and let it all sink in. It was a really good tip and we were glad we did.” The tables were named after animals that mate for life, such as penguins, swans and otters. They were decorated with floral centrepieces to match our colour scheme, heart-shaped sequin confetti and candles.
