Although you can’t host your reception here, there’s room for up to 55 ceremony guests and you can toast your new married status afterwards with post-vows drinks. Original features of the elegant 17 th - century Queen Anne mansion have been preserved creating an air of historic grandeur while the décor and furnishings add a modern touch. Surrounded by 35 acres of unspoilt countryside in Heckfield, near Hook it’s a magical big- day backdrop. You’ll be spoilt for choice for where to wed with a host of distinctive rooms and suites with period features suitable for weddings large or small. The spacious Rotherwick Suite combines traditional and modern touches including stunning chandeliers and you can invite up to 180 ceremony guests and 140 for the wedding breakfast. For more intimate affairs the Stratfield Room is great for a cosy celebration or, when the weather’s fine, you can tie the knot outside in the ornate stone Folly set in the landscaped gardens. The venue can host as many as 200 loved ones for the reception and at the end of the night there’s a complimentary suite for the happy couple to enjoy a romantic wedding night stay.
