Your Hampshire & Dorset Wedding - Jan/Feb 2018 (Issue 72)

114 C hoosing the setting for your wedding is one of the first things on the to-do list for newlyweds-to-be. Once that’s in the bag, everything else can flow from there, as demonstrated by this stunning styled shoot organised by Oxana Ruckhaber owner of Minster Designs Bridal Boutique and wedding photographer Ann Aveyard. Working in collaboration with other talented local suppliers at the Larmer Tree Gardens on the Dorset/Wiltshire border, the shoot was styled around the venue. “We wanted to convey an impression of timeless elegance with a touch of opulence and worked together as a team to achieve the look,” explains Ann. “My photography has a classic style and the venue suited this perfectly. Using the backdrop of the gardens and unusual buildings I set out to create an elegant, timeless collection of images. I particularly loved the Roman Temple with its beautifully distressed, rusty-red stonework and incorporated it in the shots to show off the flow of the wedding gown. The bouquet also complemented the tones of the stonework, tying in perfectly with our colour scheme”.
