107 PHOTO SHOOT Art and nature combine to create the perfect backdrop for this jewel-toned photo shoot Images courtesy of Sadie Osborne Dorset gems N estled in 26 acres of glorious Dorset countryside Sculpture by the Lakes is a haven of peace and tranquility created by renowned sculptor Simon Gudgeon and his wife Monique. A hidden gem, it provided an idyllic setting for Dorset cake maker Lisa Notley and florist Julia Moore to realise their vision for this eye-catching styled shoot. Themed around opulent, rich jewel tones, Julia created a stunning floral moon gate. Emerald green was chosen as a key colour to reflect the lush grass, with strong punchy shades of rich purple and deep pink for added impact. Lisa created a trio of cakes featuring pink flowers and gold leaf to complement the emerald green, while intricate leaf, flower and bird decorations picked up on details from the surrounding countryside. Purple velvet and crepe fabrics were introduced to soften the hard edges of the rustic wooden tables and benches. The napkins were tied with emerald green ribbon to complement the striking stationery designed to reflect the sumptuous colour palette. Chris wore a Bateman Ogden luxury Merino three-piece suit.
