Hampshire-based jeweller Charlotte Cornelius unveils wedding and engagement offering Charlotte Cornelius jewellery allows customers to express their personality through individually designed pieces, handmade by expert in-house goldsmiths at the boutique. Designer Charlotte describes how her designs and collections are often influenced and encapsulate the natural world with its contrasts, textures and tactile qualities. She tells us, “When it comes to jewellery, I like organic and asymmetric shapes as they feel more unconventional and fun to design and wear.” Charlotte loves meeting new people as they share a window into their world. “I listen to their stories so that I can create a beautiful, personal piece of jewellery unique to them,” she tells us. “The reward of knowing that it will bring joy and be treasured for generations is immense.” Charlotte advises couples who have just started shopping for their engagement rings and big-day jewellery to gather images of styles they like and book a no-obligation appointment to develop a design that will exceed expectations and express individuality. “It’s helpful to have an open mind because often you will be surprised by a gemstone or design that you had not thought of before,” Charlotte says. On the topic of bridal jewellery trends, Charlotte describes how teal and green sapphires are popular as centre stones for three-stone engagement rings. She adds, “High-quality, two-carat lab-grown diamonds, particularly in oval and cushion shapes, continue to be in demand. Our customers are also bringing us inherited family jewels and gold to incorporate into their one-of-a-kind engagement and wedding rings. Bringing even more beauty, personal meaning, and sustainability through honouring their family heritage.” Charlotte Cornelius recently announced the winner of their design competition. The final piece was presented to Kirsty Troughton on September 3rd 2026 at an event held in the Portsmouth boutique.
