The owners of Creatiques Bridal Boutique, Andrew and Robert Pearce, share what’s trending. TOP 2026 TRENDS “While white is still a classic, 2026 is bringing in softer, warmer shades like blush pinks, warm ivories and champagne tones. Brides are experimenting with bolder colours too, including soft pastel blues, lavender and deeper tones like emerald green, ruby red or metallic gold. Black gowns are also trending strongly. Think lace and Gothic-inspired gowns, sleek minimalist and modern silhouettes, statement ball gowns and dramatic trains plus alternative looks. Many brides are opting for bridal jumpsuits and pantsuits instead of traditional gowns. These offer a sophisticated, comfortable and fashion-forward option. Some come with detachable skirts or trains to switch from a more formal look to a more relaxed one. Brides embracing a bohemian style with airy fabrics, flowing silhouettes and less structured designs. Think ethereal lace, off-theshoulder cuts and bell sleeves. In contrast, structured dresses with clean lines and architectural elements are making waves. Floral designs are no longer limited to embroidery; brides are embracing dresses with real-life, three-dimensional floral appliqués made of lace, tulle or organza as well as other parts of their wedding attire. Dramatic, oversized balloon sleeves or puff sleeves are a major trend for 2026, adding volume and making a bold yet soft statement. Sheer or lace long sleeves are popular for brides who want a bit of coverage but still want a light, airy feel. Dresses featuring subtle cutouts around the waist, back or sides are becoming more common. These cutouts are done tastefully, offering a peek of skin while maintaining an overall elegant look.
