a fairy-woodland feel.” Ollie designed all the signage himself. “He’s so creative and made everything on Photoshop,” she says proudly. “I made the cake stands from logs we found in the woods, decorated with butterflies and fairylights.” A memory table with photos, white roses and brown crates greeted guests on arrival. “It really set the tone,” Chloé says. “We loved every minute of designing our day and having a clear theme made it all come together beautifully.” “From the woodland proposal to the fairy-lit barn, the day all felt connected. Every song, flower and detail told our story.” THE FEAST Food was a big deal for the couple, and they wanted to ensure guests didn’t go hungry. During the drinks reception, loved ones enjoyed canapés of crispy lamb belly, coconut gyoza and mini fish and chips paired with honey lemon drop cocktails and bottles of Birra Moretti and Old Mout cider. For the wedding breakfast, they chose potted shrimp and crayfish to start, sirloin steak with fondant potato for mains and rhubarb fool with shortbread for dessert. The meal was paried with Berri Estate Chardonnay and Parini Montepulciano before toasting with prosecco and limoncello shots. In the evening, Clock Barn’s outdoor pizza oven took over! There was a pepperoni, chorizo and garlic oil option, and a veggie one with artichoke and sun-blush tomato. Everyone loved the pizzas, which kept the party fuelled!” LOOKING THE PART Chloé’s gown, Essense of Australia D3787, was everything she hadn’t known she was looking for and more. “I went dress shopping with my sisters and tried on everything I thought I’d love, but nothing felt right,” she recalls. “Then my maidof-honour picked a lace gown with a mocha underlayer and sleeves. I wasn’t sure about it at first but everything changed when I tried it on! My sister started crying, my other sister smiled and I just knew,” she says. “The sleeves weren’t me, but I felt like a fairy once they came off.” The bride paired the gown with ivory satin bow heels from ASOS and a veil named Dahlia from Isabella Grace. “It was heavy, but magical,” she says. “I added delicate pearls and blue butterflies and really did feel like a fairy princess.” Ollie chose a natural herringbone suit from Moss, tailored to perfection, with a white Brook Taverner shirt, ivory floral tie and brown loafers. “He looked absolutely gorgeous,” Chloé says. “The lighter tones matched our whole aesthetic perfectly.” The groomsmen wore matching suits with frosted green ties, the same hue as the bridesmaids’ dresses. “My girls all chose different designs from the Anaya With Love range in Frosted Green,” says Chloé. “I wanted them to pick styles that suited their bodies and personalities, and they all looked so beautiful.” TIME TO CELEBRATE Entertainment was a top priority for the lovebirds, as the couple wanted everyone to feel relaxed and have fun. They had board games in the snug, giant Jenga, limbo and ring toss outside. During the drinks reception, their friend Chris Harper performed live to make those in-between moments extra special. Later, a five-piece band kept the dancefloor full all night. “The energy was amazing,” Chloé recalls. “The glow sticks and personalised sunglasses were such a hit, seeing everyone dancing with them was priceless.” MEMORABLE MOMENTS For Chloé, the ceremony stood above all else. “Walking down the aisle was my highlight,” she says. “I’d dreamt of that moment for so long and I was nervous but so excited to see Ollie. My father’s support made it even more meaningful. He held my hand the whole time before the ceremony,” she says. “When the doors opened, everything else disappeared and all I saw was Ollie, every nerve turned into happiness. Ollie felt the same. He said he’d imagined it so many times but felt surprisingly calm. He told me later he was just excited with no nerves, just joy.” The pair also loved their meal, speeches, and of course, the dancefloor where they didn’t stop dancing until they were told to go to bed!
