For accessories, I wore a Tiffany bracelet that my mum gave me for my 16th birthday, a Pandora bracelet she gifted me when she married my stepdad in 2015, and I borrowed earrings from her that she wore on her wedding day. My family ensured everything went smoothly and was perfect for me. A special mention to my mum who worked hard to bring everything together and kept everyone in line! Trying to take photos with Ben created many funny moments! Group photos were very boring for him, so I gave him a beer when we returned for the couple portraits. He relaxed a bit more by the time the twilight photos came around. So much so that he ran off down the other side of a hill creating some hilarious photos and goblin-esque photos of him holding a precious beer! Dancing through the night with all my guests and ending the night on Backbone by Stormzy was a standout moment! Our goal was a relaxed wedding with no strict codes or plans. We also wanted to use a good DJ, so everyone danced all night and ensured we didn’t have to organise anything on the day itself. The cake was a simple two-tier creation with black ribbon for a simple and elegant design. The flavours were chocolate and jam, which tasted phenomenal! 46
