Your Hampshire and Dorset Wedding - May/June 2025 (Issue 110)

My childhood best friend and my half-sister were my bridesmaids who wore black gowns while the flowergirl, Ben’s daughter, wore a black dress with silver Doc Martens boots, channelling her inner rock chick. Ben wore a suit with an ivory waistcoat and tie while his best men wore silver – they all looked great together! Centrepieces were black and white roses, which is my favourite flower since watching Phantom of the Opera when I was younger. We went to Wales for three nights with the doggo, spending some lovely time in front of the log fire and exploring local villages. Being able to soak everything up as a newly married couple was amazing! My mum and stepdad helped a lot throughout the planning process and took over when I got too stressed, which was often. My mum arranged the favours and did a fantastic job! I was lucky that my stepnan put together the flowers for our brilliant centrepieces. I felt comfortable but also beautiful as my look came together perfectly on the day. The sequins against the black roses complemented each other brilliantly. 45 REAL WEDDINGS
