Your Hampshire and Dorset Wedding - May/June 2025 (Issue 110)

We both felt pure happiness. We’ve said many times that it was the best day of our lives—we’ve never been so happy. The evening reception was the most fun we’ve had in ages—great music, dancing, and drinks flowing all night. My wedding dress was by Sincerity. Funnily enough, it wasn’t the style I thought I’d go for—I originally wanted something plain, slim and simple. Instead, I chose something lacy and flowy! I kept accessories minimal: my everyday earrings gifted by Nat’s parents, a matching bracelet with my maid-of-honour, and some gypsophila in my hair. Instead of individual wedding favours, we had mints and wine on each table. The mints were in little jars that I’d wrapped with twine to give them a rustic touch. We had activity bags for all the children, and they went down really well! The speeches were unforgettable! We laughed and cried more than we ever thought possible in just half an hour. I asked two of my bridesmaids to wear dusty blue gowns and the other two to wear navy. REAL WEDDINGS 39
