Your Hampshire and Dorset Wedding - November/December 2023 (Issue 101)

Hello lovely readers, and welcome to another issue of Your Hampshire and Dorset Wedding. We’re well into autumn now, and I’ve loved every second of this beautiful season. There’s nothing better than strolling hand-in-hand through the forest this time of year to get some fresh air while enjoying nature. Plus, I’m a jumper girl at heart and love wrapping up warm. The scenery has embraced shades of orange, red and yellow this time of year, which creates the ultimate backdrop for weddings. Embrace the rich tones and seasonal foliage in your venue styling for autumnal nuptials – I’m talking sunflowers, berries, acorns, dahlias and hydrangeas. This can also be transpired throughout your stationery, florals and cake. My favourite season is just around the corner, and I couldn’t be more excited to welcome winter. I can picture it now, getting cosy on the sofa with a blanket and hot chocolate while watching my favourite Christmas films. It’s just such a magical time of year with plenty of family time, food, festive cheer and friendly competition with must-have board games – scrabble anyone? This issue is bursting full of inspiration, thanks to the wonderful suppliers around the counties! We have wedding must-haves, draw-dropping weddings, showstopping venues, expert advice, gowns galore and top honeymoon destinations. Flick to our beauty pages to discover the latest product launches and wellness advice, or discover all the latest happenings from around the counties in our news feature. No matter what stage you’re at with wedding planning, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. That’s all from me; happy planning!
