We fell in love with The Summer House at Hanbury Manor Marriott Hotel & Country Club. It’s such a beautiful light and airy space that overlooks the garden courts with blooming flowers. The Summer House brought the outside in, and the large room right behind it was the perfect setting for our wedding breakfast with a balcony, sweeping stairs and a beautiful fireplace. I drew a decorative flower border for the table plan and table name cards to add a personal touch. The team at Coral and Blue Events then arranged the names and created a timeline in gold for the table plan. I felt surprisingly calm until I was about to walk down the aisle! But once I saw Greg, I focused on him and relaxed after the ceremony. We donated to Alzheimer’s Research UK on behalf of all the guests and had little cards printed on the day to honour Greg’s mum who has Alzheimer’s. The centrepieces were gold plinths with tiered candles provided by Coral and Blue Events, and was put together by our friend Michelle who did amazing flower displays. 36
