This year we’re already seeing showstopping nuptials around the counties with stunning touches and heartwarming moments. As we look to the year ahead, I can’t wait to see weddings feature Pantone’s colour of the year – viva magenta. The shade will undoubtedly impact the industry thanks to its bold and empowering hue. Congratulations if you’ve just got engaged over the festive period! If I could share one piece of advice for wedding planning, it would be to ensure the day reflects you both – don’t get sidetracked trying to please others. Planning your big day should be a fun experience where you find a theme you both love, a colour scheme to complement your day, a showstopping venue and talented companies who can bring your vision to life. There’s a reason traditional weddings have been popular for decades. The classic styling, grand settings and formal attire will always create elegant nuptials year-round. But expect to see more couples breaking away from tradition in 2023 and pushing the boundaries. If you don’t know where to start with the planning process, you’re in luck as we’ve been busy sourcing the very best local suppliers to provide top inspiration. Expect to see talented florists, photographers, bakers, videographers, venue stylists and more. That’s all from me! I hope you enjoy reading this magazine as much as I‘ve loved putting it together. Here’s to another year of fabulous weddings! Olivi Olivia Gibson, Editor Say he t 2023! 71 28 81 Feeling lucky? Enter for a chance to win a mini-moon in Northern Ireland. www.ad-photography.co.uk 6
