PHOTOGRAPHY 55 Showstopping nuptials We look back on some of our favourite showstopping weddings from the last few issues ERIC AND NATASHA Eric and Natasha created a modern take on the traditional theme for their wedding day. When it came to picking the perfect setting for their special day, the groom had one request – for the venue to be close to an airfield. The pair has been to Shuttleworth House on a few occasions to watch various air shows, and book the property after discovering they host weddings. http://akexpressions.com JAMES AND TINA South Farm was the perfect location for James and Tina’s wedding. The pair had originally planned to get married in March 2021, but had to postpone their day due to Covid 19. So it was important to create a day where loved ones had the chance to let their hair down and enjoy themselves. www.jamespolley-photography.co.uk LUKE AND KIRSTY Luke and Kirsty’s beautiful wedding featured a beautiful colour scheme and plenty of showstopping touches. After getting engaged, the couple's number one goal was to enjoy every second of the planning process and to have a stress-free wedding. By working as a team, they created the most perfect day surrounded by loved ones. www.elliemacphotography.com CATHRYN AND JONATHAN Cathryn and Jonathan tied the knot at Fanhalls Hall in Ware. From the time of booking to the actual wedding, the couple had five weeks to plan their big day and opted for a simple and classic style with stunning blooms, great entertainment and a elegant cake. www.purplekitephotography.com SAM AND MATT Check out Sam and Matt’s English garden-style wedding in Hertfordshire. When it came to creating their dream wedding, the couple wanted to enjoy the run-up to the day as much as possible. The wedding was full of celebrations, and a highlight for the pair was watching loved ones dancing, laughing and hugging all day. www.angelswithdirtyfacesphotography.com DAVID AND MARIE-ANTHEA After postponing the day twice, David and Marie-Anthea were so relieved to finally get married after worrying that the day might not go ahead. A part that stood out the most to David was walking down the aisle with their daughter Emilia and seeing his bride-to-be make her grand entrance. www.rafeabrook.co.uk
