Seeing Ollie’s face as I walked down the aisle was a moment that stood out to me. All the speeches were amazing; it was nice to hear how proud my dad is of us. The bridesmaids are scattered around the country; so it was great that they could get together to try dresses on. We opted for royal blue gowns, and I bought them matching silver jewellery. A local band performed an acoustic set during the drinks reception, and a full band set in the evening. They played a great variety of music and had all our guests dancing – even my dad, who I’ve only seen once or twice dance! The majority of our suppliers went above and beyond, particularly our videographer who arrived at 8.30 am and was still with us well past 11 pm. 44 Having our loved ones in one place and all enjoying themselves was really special as it’s not very often we get to see them all together.
