Your Herts and Beds Wedding - August/September 2022 (Issue 93)

Our goals were to enjoy every second of the planning process and to have a stress-free wedding. The venue has the most incredible ceremony space, which overlooks 27 acres of manicured gardens. Having my dad walk me down the aisle was the most special part of the day; he’s had three previous heart attacks and we were unsure we’d get to experience that moment together as our day was constantly being postponed due to Covid. Fanhams Hall was the first venue we viewed, and we ended up booking it the same day. The Jacobean mansion has a fantastic Grade II listed hall that features a large stone fire place, which is where we had our wedding breakfast. The gardens feature a beautiful wisteria walkway, fountain plaza, Japanese tea houses and a woodland area with stunning flowers. We used our bridesmaid bouquets as centrepieces and decorated the tables using wooden placemats, candles and printed photos from our engagement shoot. 37AA REAL WEDDINGS 37
