Your Herts and Beds Wedding - August/September 2022 (Issue 93)

My brother was our toastmaster and absolutely br ought the house down! Massimo wore an Italian checked three-piece suit with a navy shirt, white Vans, a baker boy cap and a vintage pocket watch and cha in. We used a company called The Spitting Pig Co for the wedding breakfast, and the team served a hog roast with all the trimmings. In the evening we had food from Mozzarella Fellas and drinks from Your Event Bar. We were absolutely thrilled with all the catering on the day, as were our guests! I wanted a dress that made me feel lovely and allowed me to dance the night away. I picked a full-length ruby red dress that I bought online – I loved it straight away. We had a semi-naked Victoria sponge cake, which featured fresh flowers. Our canapés were from Bridget’s Tea Room, whic h is somewhere we love to go for tea. We wanted to support their amazing work with adults with learning difficulties. 34
