I added a flower crown, stack rings fromTesoro London and I borrowed diamond earrings from my mother-in-law to finish off the look. I wore a cream Gina Bacconi maxi dress featuring a lace overlay, a sweetheart neckline and a beautiful floor-sweeping skirt – the contrasting waist created a truly stunning silhouette. Our goal was to be surrounded by our small family, which includes James’s mum Paula, his brother Lawrence, my daughter Jude and our two beautiful dogs Misha and Henry. We’re so thankful for Paula who helped plan this beautiful experience, we’re blessed to have her in our lives. Jude and Lawrence also made such an effort to be with us o n the day. Although she had been in the UK for several months during the summer, she was leaving to go back home. James says, “We met before she left and discovered a strong attraction and many common interests. We’re both vegan, yoga practitioners, fitness enthusiasts, mathematicians and even share the same birthday!” A few days after meeting, James booked Mayssaa a flight to Paris where he met her and they travelled via Eurostar back to his home in Hitchin. He adds, “Despite the visit being short, our relationship developed very quickly and we had already spoken about love before she returned home.” On their first anniversary, the couple decided to get married and the date was set for April 6 th , 2021.
