Stunning spaces The Drawing Room is an intimate space for up to 35 guests; the light-filled Old Dairy, overlooking the paddocks, accommodates up to 100 guests; and the grand Tudor Barn, with its stunning elm beams and fairy lights, hosts up to 146. The garden Summerhouse is simply stunning, providing a gorgeous outdoor Spring and Summer setting, and the Horse Barn is a lovingly converted, high-specification, flexible venue space. Originally the home of eight working shire horses, as well as a ceremony space, it now offers the facility to have a designated dancing space in the evenings. With a part-glazed suspended dance floor and dramatic designer lighting, it’s a stunning addition. Homegrown food The organic smallholding, spread over ten acres, is quite exceptional in the range and excellence of its year-long seasonal supplies. Menus are seasonally tailored to what is growing in the smallholding and, if there’s anything a couple has been imagining, the team will try to make it happen. Having fresh produce with zero food miles, including eggs from the chickens and pork from the free-range kune kune pigs, means every couple gets the benefit of the most amazing fresh ingredients. The rustic Barnyard lies at the heart of South Farm and is home to a collection of rare breed animals. The piglets melt guests’ hearts and, along with chickens, ducks, turkeys and peacocks, keep children and guests entertained. South Farm now also has two wonderful miniature donkeys, Snowdrop and Bluebell, along with three adorable pygmy goats — there’s always something to see and enjoy!
