The manor house is surrounded by seven acres of manicured grounds which form the perfect backdrop for big-day photographs underneath the arches and over the bridge which is illuminated at night. The Yew Tree walk, which flows around the back of the manor to the Italian Gardens reveals a glistening lake that’s home to plenty of wildlife. There’s a choice of three outdoor ceremony options - exchange vows under the arches with the Victorian manor house as the backdrop; under the pavilion in the Italian Gardens or by the lake at the lakeside pavilion. Guests can mingle in the grounds for a drinks reception with ample space to enjoy games on the lawn. There’s live cooking on the patio to add a touch of theatre to the day, plus couples can opt for informal dining within the grounds, with ample space for a stretch tent or a marquee. Inside the manor is The Maximilian suite for up to 100 ceremony guests and 60 seated at dinner against a backdrop of stunning architecture with two tall windows filling the room with natural daylight. The Ballroom is an alternative, adaptable and neutral space with many set-up options, accommodating up to 260 guests. For the wedding breakfast and reception, The Ballroom opens on to the patio and seats up to 200 guests at round tables or at long banqueting tables. The manor house provides a choice of other spaces for intimate weddings for up to 50 guests and is also home to The Rock Bar, a unique space to play music from a juke box in a trendy bar setting.
