Ellie and Alex met in a gym in Cheltenham when he was her trainer. “I fancied Ellie from the start but it took four years for her to notice my flirtatious signals!” Alex tells us. “I invited her to be my plus one at a wedding and the rest, as they say, is history.” The couple became engaged in October 2021 during a surprise proposal in Falmouth. “Alex took me to the cliff path at Gylly Beach to watch the sunset and got down on one knee,” Ellie tells us. “We got a round of applause from the ramblers!” Here, Ellie tells us all about their marquee wedding reception held at Fairford Cricket Club in Gloucestershire that enjoyed a romantic, whimsical theme decorated with neutral and gold-coloured touches. www.bullitphotography.co.uk REAL WEDDINGS 27
