Your Gloucestershire and Wiltshire Wedding- April/May (Issue 32)

The Scenic Supper has launched The Scenic Supper Parties and Wedding management service separate from its unique fine dining experience within bespoke glasshouses at Todenham Manor Farm near Moreton-in-Marsh, Gloucestershire. This new service includes: ♥ Creative planning and management of weddings for up to 100 guests. ♥ Hand-picked Cotswold-based venues that are set in stunning rural locations including ancient Cotswold stone barns on working farms and country houses including Hilles House. ♥ Planning and managing the ceremony and wedding breakfast, flowers, music, speeches, creative styling and photography and arranging the bookings and itineraries for honeymoons. The Scenic Supper team are supported by talented local suppliers, entertainers and artisan producers who have solid reputations for delivering something exceptional in terms of design, presentation and service. ♥ Maintaining The Scenic Supper’s environmental credentials, from using local seasonal produce and renewable, sustainable resources to recycling post-party. ♥ Seasonal cocktails made using co-founder Sam Lawson-King’s own artisan King Stone gin and his homemade shrubs, cordials and mixers. There’s also carefully selected Cotswolds’ sparkling wines, a well-curated list of Old and New World wines and beers by Cotswold Brew Company and Hook Norton Brewery. ♥ Seasonally changing menus of modern British dishes with European touches created by head chef, Sam Idione. Dishes are made using locally sourced produce in keeping with The Scenic Supper’s ‘Paddock to Plate’ ethos. All dietary requirements including gluten-intolerant and nut and dairy-free can be accommodated to suit individual needs. A seasonally changing vegetarian menu will also be available, and a vegan menu can be created on request. Head chef Samuel Idione started his training in classic French cuisine aged just 15 in Cornwall. He then went on work at Rick Stein in Padstow, The Clove Club, London and for two-Michelin star restaurant Patrick Jeffroy in France. He is well-known for his innovative ideas and contemporary twists on modern British and traditional French cooking to produce light dishes using the best quality local ingredients found as close to the restaurant location and the surrounding area as possible. Toby Baggott tells us, “Building on our success since launching in 2020, we’re excited about the launch of our parties and weddings service for which we plan to create truly wonderful and memorable experiences in the heart of the Cotswolds.” Toby continues, “Many of our Scenic Supper guests ask if it’s possible to have a Scenic Supper-catered wedding and we are looking forward to fulfilling this growing demand and putting to good use our pre-pandemic events experience, and contacts, to create something really special for them and a wider audience.” Contact: www.thescenicsupperevents.co.uk 22
