Your Gloucestershire and Wiltshire Wedding- December 2021/January 2022 (Issue 30)

LOOKING THE PART Harriet chose the dress called Tommy by Made With Love. “It was so elegant and I loved it,” she tells us. “I teamed it with a pair of sparkly earrings and some sandals.” Robbie wore a navy suit teamed with a dark-grey waistcoat while the couple’s groomsmen wore their own suits and the bridesmaids their own pink dresses. “Because we had a small wedding, we didn’t want it to look like everyone was wearing the same outfit!” Harriet explains. “My dad accidentally left the security tag on his suit jacket which stayed on for the entire day!” TIME TO ENTERTAIN The couple didn’t book any entertainment because of the restrictions in place at the time. “Robbie’s friend, Adrian Berry, is a singer and now part of a band. He sorted out all of our music and got everyone up and dancing,” Harriet says. “It was lots of fun - some of the best parts of our day were the dancing and the speeches – and the ceremony of course!” “We both felt a bit nervous at the start of our wedding day but we were able to relax and enjoy it and loved how it turned out.” – Harriet and Robbie REAL WEDDINGS 37
