Your East Midlands Wedding - December 2020/January 2021 (Issue 41)

My accessories consisted of blush Converse and my flowercrown. We served afternoon tea during the evening reception. I had gorgeous bouquets and a flowercrown from the lovely Lisa at Fleurs en Fleury in Loughborough – I sobbed when I saw how beautiful it looked. Our transport was an Austin A35 which I always said was my dream wedding car. I was completely over-the-moon when my lovely friend’s partner said he would drive me in his one! My beautiful dress was by Justin Alexander. It wasn’t what I had in mind, it had a massive long train, but I liked the lace and ended up loving the gown. I felt extremely overwhelmed when I saw myself on the day and so happy with absolutely everything. 46
