34 The couple worked hard to ensure the venue looked perfect for their rustic vision and found rustic candle holders, picture frames, globes and created an entrance piece with a giant crate with the items found. Rebekah says, “Instead of going for a photo booth, we had a bespoke rustic wooden wall made with mauve flowers and a rustic banner. We included a vintage suitcase and photo props along with a camera for our guests to use in the evening!” Guests didn’t go hungry with the multiple food options available. The wedding breakfast consisted of their favourite foods including lamb, and there was an Italian stone-baked pizza van outside for guest in the evening. There was even a rustic Italian-inspired dessert table with cheesecakes, gateau, chocolate cakes and more!  The nearlyweds already knew the perfect baker for their wedding cake after using Red Robin Cakery for birthdays and gender reveal cakes in the past. The design was white with outlines of the world map on. LOOKING THE PART Rebekah knew she wanted a plain and simple dress on her wedding day. She says, “I didn’t connect with myself and how I looked until I was given a beautiful bracelet from my husband-to-be, which made me feel so special and ready to marry him!” Michael wore a Ted Baker suit in a charcoal colour with a silver waistcoat while the groomsmen wore a charcoal-coloured waistcoat and ties to match the colour scheme. He says, “I loved how similar our suits were, but how different I looked on the day in comparison – I felt like a king that day and I was ready to marry my queen.” The maid-of-honour, Rebekah’s sister, discovered the blush- coloured bridesmaid dresses that the bridal party looked incredible in on the day. TIME TO CELEBRATE To keep guests entertained in the evening, Michael’s brother was the DJ who knew what music the couple would want and created the perfect atmosphere with a packed dancefloor.  The couple’s first dance was a moment to treasure forever. “We had made a conscious effort to not listen to our song Butterflies  by Michael Jackson for a whole year, once it started playing it took us right back to the first time we ever danced together,” says the bride. “We zoned out from the guests, but our families were right there with us completely in awe, when we looked back at videos it was a beautiful everlasting moment.” MEMORABLE MOMENTS Rebekah felt so nervous when getting ready on the morning of the wedding until she arrived at the church with her dad. She says, “My bridal party and son were waiting outside, but he didn’t want to walk. So I asked him to find daddy and as he spotted Michael at the end of the aisle he ran down and gave him the biggest cuddle! I melted and cried my eyes out, which didn’t stop until after the ceremony.” She adds, “It was a beautiful moment and reality kicked in that our perfect day had begun and I was going to marry my best friend!” The best man and the father-of-the-bride’s speech really stood out to the pair; due to their humorous nature - they were surrounded by so much love and happiness. HONEYMOON Michael planned their honeymoon, the pair jetted off to Bali for two weeks.“From the scenery to the food and people – it was the best trip we’ve been on,” he says. “The first week we did all the tourist attractions and saw the beauty of Bali in Ubud and then we stayed in a beautiful, secluded, Hilton resort with a beach and views to die for! Here we relaxed, ate, swam and slept.”
