NEWS All the latest from around the region ALL SYSTEMS GO Picturesque Caldecott Hall, at Redwings Horse Sanctuary in Fritton near Great Yarmouth, is now taking bookings for 2022 weddings. After hosting its first wedding in Autumn 2019, COVID struck putting a stop to any more. However, they’ve been busy behind the scenes making further upgrades to the venue, especially the accommodation which is brand new this year. Providing a unique big-day backdrop, couples can tie the knot in the beautiful ceremony room and celebrate afterwards in the wedding marquee. The Sydney Suite at Caldecott Hall can seat up to 85 people for the ’I dos’ while the marquee can host a further 20 for the day time and evening celebrations. The self-catering accommodation in the newly renovated and refurbished Sanctuary Rooms is perfect for the wedding party or guests to stay over. Set in a picturesque location, next door to an 18-hole golf course, weddings at Caldecott Hall are managed by Norwich-based event planning company Ginger Lily Catering. Any profits from the venue hire will be going towards supporting Redwings’ work rescuing, caring and rehoming horses and donkeys in need. Sam Brown, managing director at Ginger Lily Catering, said, “We’re very excited to be able to offer this unique venue to couples looking to get married from 2022 and beyond.” To find out more visit www.gingerlilycatering.co.uk EDITOR LOVES...
