Your East Anglian Wedding - Page number 48 - August/September 2021 (Issue 50)

S teeped in folklore and tradition pearls are a perennial favourite for brides. Inspired by their enduring appeal, make-up artist Victoria Bradfield and photographer Ayshea Goldberg designed this striking shoot around a timeless look, the epitome of understated glamour, perfect for any season. “We wanted to showcase an elegance that would never fade or look dated,” explains Ayshea. Set against the enchanting Butley Priory wedding venue near Woodbridge, Suffolk, the delicate colour palette was based on the soft ivory, pink and silver tones of coloured pearls. The hairstyling, flowing gowns and use of pearl jewellery and hair accessories incorporated a subtle nod to the popular television period drama Bridgerton . The cakes and table styling echoed the colour palette and feel of the design brief, enhanced by an abundance of beautiful flowers. The make-up was designed to reflect a natural bridal radiance and the photography perfectly captured the light, soft mood. www.avis uals.co.uk 48
