Rustic romance Lucy and Tom’s intimate wedding was a magical mix of Norfolk lavender, soft natural hues and personal touches Images courtesy of Heather Jackson Photography A shared love of adventure and fun helped bring Lucy and Tom together. They first met while working in the French Alps in 2014 during the ski season and after hitting it off, continued their travels together, working abroad before returning home and settling down in Norfolk. “We loved each other’s sense of adventure and contagious fun. The moment Tom flipped me upside down and started dancing to Lionel Richie’s Dancing on the Ceiling I knew he was the one for me,” laughs Lucy. Tom proposed in 2019, a memorable day made even more magical by the weather. “It had snowed which reminded us of when we first met in the Alps,” recalls Lucy. “Afterwards we enjoyed a lovely night with our two dogs at The Olive Branch in Clipsham, Rutland. We decided to get married the following summer but had to postpone it due to Coronavirus and since then we’ve had the most wonderful addition to the family, our now six-month-old daughter Esther,” adds Lucy. They tied the knot on 12 th June this year at St Andrew’s Church in Little Massingham, Norfolk followed by a reception at the Field Barn on the neighbouring estate.
