Your East Anglian Wedding - Page number 28 - June/July 2021 (Issue 49)

We wanted the day to be very relaxed so we didn’t have a table plan. We had 25 day guests and they sat wherever they wanted as we had a large oval table so everyone could see each other. Matt’s suit was from Slaters and his dad, who was his best man, had one to match. My dad walked me up the aisle with our son Roman who looked adorable in his suit. He passed our rings to Matt and it was the cutest moment! e As soon as we saw The Assembly House I had a lump in my throat. I knew it was right for us and could picture our day there. It’s bright, spacious with beautiful chandeliers and doesn’t need much decoration as it’s already stunning. We had jars of flowers and plaques to decorate the tables which we sprinkled with little hearts personalised with the wedding date. I styled my dress with a belt and wore a ha irvine for extra sparkle. All our friends and family live around Norwich so I wanted the wedding to be local. Jamie at The Assembly House was incredible. He helped calm me down before the ceremony and checked up on me throughout the day to make sure everything was going well. 28
