Your Devon and Cornwall Wedding - January/February 2024 (Issue 47)

I wore a dress called Gigi by the bridal designer Suzanne Neville. I wanted a simple yet elegant style and I teamed it with a pair of pearl earrings. Our place names were tags tied on to personalised menus with cream fabric. We had a three-course menu for our guests and a buffet of Cornish pasties and fish and chips during the evening. Our wedding cake was made up of 65 cupcakes decorated with buttercream flowers, gold detailing, white and gold ribbon and each cupcake was embossed with Mr and Mrs Stacey. Our beautiful bridesmaids wore full-length dresses in a soft champagne shade. “We both felt nervous yet excited on our big day. It was so special knowing that we had all of our loved ones there for us gathered in our favourite place.” - Hayley and James James’s speech was so special, I will never forget it. Our centrepieces looked stunning – flower arrangements were displayed on tall gold stands surrounded by plenty of candles which created a romantic atmosphere. We chose elegant cream and white flowers which looked timeless. “I loved it when the singer performed At Last whilst I was sat overlooking the sea with my new husband!” - Hayley 33 REAL WEDDINGS
