Your Devon and Cornwall Wedding - March/April 2023 (Issue 42)

We entertained our guests with a tattoo bar which everybody loved! We hired a DJ for the evening and provided some fun props for our guests to take photographs with. Everybody gathered together to light sparklers at dusk! We gave the children activity packs to keep them amused! Highlights on the menu for our wedding breakfast were chicken caesar salad, coconut and chilli soup, beef and chicken for the main course as well as a vegetarian pie. For dessert, everyone tucked into a trio of brownies and cheesecake topped with fruit. Our delicious three-tier cake had a Cherry Bakewell layer, a Victoria sponge tier and a white chocolate and raspberry one. Josh wore a sage-green suit and looked so handsome! Our groomsmen wore sage-green suits to match Josh’s that we hired. They teamed them with pink ties, white shirts, brown shoes, a pair of braces and buttonholes – they looked great! She helped look after our children who were one and three years old at the time of the holiday.” – Shannon 42
