Your Devon and Cornwall Wedding - July/August 2022 (Issue 38)

LOOKING THE PART Harriet wore a dress by the designer Martina Liana. “I wanted something to suit our beachy celebration with a touch of sparkle!” she tells us. “I accessorised it with a pair of pearl drop earrings that worked well with the seaside theme.” The groomsmen wore grey tailcoat suits with grey waistcoats and pink ties and pocket squares while Liam chose a grey tailcoat with pinstripe trousers and an ivory waistcoat, tie and pocket square. “My two sisters were our bridesmaids and wore blush dresses while my friend, who was also a bridesmaid, chose a tighter fighting gown in a similar shade,” Harriet says. TIME TO ENTERTAIN Throughout their ceremony and wedding breakfast, the couple had the pianist Thomas Quirke performing. “He was great and created a relaxed atmosphere with a buzz,” Harriet says. “We had a singer and DJ to entertain our guests during the evening. The singer was a friend of ours who interacted well with our guests and was a great addition to our wedding. The DJ listened to our requests and got everyone on the dancefloor!” “We enjoyed the most amazing day and when we look back on it, it still leaves us speechless.” – Harriet and Liam 43 REAL WEDDINGS
