My love of ancient antiquity in medieval jewellery, and its symbolism, also influences my work. Archaeologists are still finding these ancient pieces intact so I like the idea that in 3000 years from now, somebody could find something that I made in 2021!” He continues “I can also upcycle old heirlooms and when it comes to rings, I use a specialist wax that helps to show three-dimensional designs so that customers can see how they look before the manufacturing process begins. I try to work to all budgets so that we can achieve something special and usually I ask customers to bring ideas and influences along to the initial consultation which helps us find inspiration together.” SAY HI: 01803 362 392, www.prettysmithybridal.co.uk www.facebook.com/PrettySmithyBridal www.instagram.com/prettysmithybridal StevenWhitford is the talented jeweller behindWhitford Jewellery based inWest Devon.
