On the day, George kept telling me jokes to make me feel less nervous and it felt very special. We hired a DJ and magic mirror to entertain our guests during the evening. Due to the restrictions in place at the time, we weren’t allowed to have a dancefloor but we all made the best of it. George and our groomsmen all wore pale grey, slim-fit suits that we had to order online because the lockdown prevented us from being able to visit the shops. Our beautiful bridesmaids looked stunning in their yellow floor-length dresses. We purchased these in the sale a year before the wedding and the girls ended up swapping sizes because one of them had a growth spurt and the other became pregnant! “All of our suppliers did a fabulous job of helping us plan and celebrate our special day.
