THE VENUE Rock Farm is an intimate wedding venue and accommodation located in Alfington, Devon. The rural location makes it a great choice for couples planning a laid-back, environmentally friendly celebration. Owners Louise and Mike Riley have spent years lovingly renovating Rock Farm, Roxie House and Rock House into their dream home and have planted more than 150 trees in the vast grounds, some of which are walnut, almond and fruit varieties along with oak sycamores. As well as doing their bit for the environment, they provide a beautiful backdrop for big-day photographs. Louise tells us, “At Rock Farm, we aim to maintain sustainability with the environment in mind. We encourage guests to avoid the use of plastics and recommend regional wedding suppliers who only use sustainably sourced local produce. We encourage the hiring of furniture, plates, knives and forks, linen napkins a nd glassware so that they can be used again and again and many of these wedding items can be taken home a nd enjoyed as beautiful keepsakes.” Louise continues, “we ask that wedding favours are plastic-free and suggest a n alternative, eco-friendly ideas to our couples such as sapling, seeds or even freshly cooked macaroons.” F ind out more: 07703 533 581, https://rockfarmdevon.co.uk ww w.facebook.com/rockfarmweddings w ww.instagram.com/rockfarmweddings Ec -chi cele ation www.get tyimages.co.uk CHECK OUT...
