Your Cheshire and Merseyside Wedding - July/August 2025 (Issue 82)

In the evening, we had live band, The Party Professors, perform. They specialise in medleys and put on a great performance including a surprise dance with the crowd. Our guests didn’t want it to end! A lot of guests commented on how good the speeches were. My brother took on the traditional father-of-the-bride role and had everyone in tears, the applause went on for a very long time. The best man gave us a masterclass in delivery and had guests laughing from beginning to end. Our first dance was a medley of The Book of Love by Peter Gabriel and I Always Knew by The Vaccines. We were totally unprepared and spent the first minute whispering together about what to do next but we somehow styled it out! 20
