The bridesmaids wore matching cream, taffeta, A-line, midi dresses from Karen Millen. Henry wore a morning suit with pale pink waistcoat and tie. His groomsmen were dressed to match, with the exception of their waistcoats, which were cream. I travelled to the church in an open-top, vintage, blue, 1920s car. I have a fond memory of approaching the church and seeing a crowd of villagers waiting there, and my bridesmaids’ cream dresses glowing in the sunshine. I wore a bespoke gown by Katy Britton with a simple, square neckline, pearl buttons and a bow on the back. 18
