Your Cheshire and Merseyside Wedding - March/April 2024 (Issue 74)

My four bridesmaids wore lovely navy blue multiway floor-length dresses, and each wore the straps in a different way, which looked brilliant. Our wedding pianist, Benjamin Clarke, played before the ceremony, after it and during the wedding breakfast. He performed pop songs beautifully rearranged for the piano, which the guests enjoyed identifying. I was more nervous the night before. When I was surrounded by my bridal party on the morning of, my nerves started to vanish. Harry got more and more nervous from the time he woke up to when he watched me walk down the aisle, by which point he broke down into tears and struggled to read his vows! Harry wore a grey tweed suit with navy blue Cavani shoes and an ivory cravat to stand out from the rest of his party. His groomsmen wore the same suit and shoes with navy ties to match the bridesmaids’ dresses. I found my dress at Seventh Heaven Bridal in my home town of Congleton. One of my favourite accessories was my nan’s tiara, which is more than 55-years-old, and was also worn by my mum at her wedding, and by my sister at her hers. So, it was very special. 40
